Hand-made blankets given to kids in need

The Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap and Mason counties chapter of Project Linus extends heartfelt thanks to our many volunteers and supporters, known and anonymous, for their generosity.

Our mission is to provide comfort and security to children in distress through hand-made blankets. Our volunteers spend countless hours making quilts, afghans and fleece blankets so a child can receive a warm, loving hug when they need it most. These blankets are distributed locally to many organizations serving children, including social service agencies, and programs and camps supporting children from military families.

For more information about Project Linus see projectlinus.org or contact us at project.linus@comcast.net.

Once again, many many thanks to all who have made it possible to provide comfort to over 1,000 children in our area in 2015!
