Big money corrupts our political system

The Republican Party has morphed into an extreme political movement, completely separated from working men and women. The top 400 families in America, along with major corporations, are running our country.

Using their political influence, the goal of these donors is to dismantle all government programs that provide a lifeline of hope. The voice of the broad populous is not being heard. We need to create a government that works for all Americans, not just the wealthy elite and special interests .Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are absolutely correct – big money owns the politicians.

We as Americans have a choice to make: Democracy or rule by the rich. We can’t have both. It’s either an honest Democrat or one of the grifter conservatives.

Rational and reasonably intelligent people want to know what is going on in the country in and the world in which they live. Those that live in the reality of garbage TV and video games are the Americans that are most likely to vote against their own best interests or to not vote at all. Voter complacency works very well for the Republican Party.

What makes stupidity in America stand out is that the most Americans – the dumb ones – don’t think it’s bad to be dumb. For three decades money has flowed to the top. It’s time it gets to the middle class. Your fellow Americans need your voice, your outrage and your vote!
