DOC prisoners don't deserve care

Regarding the Jan. 4 article, “Lawsuit against DOC alleges prisoner neglect” – wow! Am I reading this right?

They got a lot of nerve; they should be lucky they receive anything. They are in prison because they broke the law. Give them an aspirin and call back in about 10 years. They should receive basic needs and be lucky they get that.

If they want special medical treatment call a family member. I have no sympathy for them. They are a menace and burden on society. We have senior citizens and veterans and kids that can’t get any help at all.

We have spineless lawmakers that won’t say enough is enough. You should only get the basic needs to survive and be grateful for that. They are there for punishment not recreation.
