ID rules don’t limit flights yet
It is interesting to note the confluence of the new ID rules with other issues. For instance, the Washington state motor-voter registration law only requires a box to be checked to provide proof of citizenship.
The Real ID law requires some sort of documentary proof of citizenship like a birth certificate or passport.
Voter ID is anathema to many yet the Obama administration is now requiring proof of citizenship to fly. The cognitive dissonance in this policy is inescapable.
