Open government, open negotiations

I could not agree more with the Jan. 24 editorial that calls for “a more open and accountable government.”

I suggest that a good starting point would be the wage negotiations between our governor and the state employee union representatives.

As many of us know, these negotiations take place behind closed doors. Let’s open the doors and become more accountable.
