Can't connect dots in presidential races

After a minimum of 12 years without a functioning Congress, the housing market nearly collapsing under George Bush’s watch, jobs disappearing, middle class also disappearing, etc.

The American people want a change in government, along comes the Donald to tell us he’ll build a wall, deport all illegal immigrants and stop allowing Muslims into the country.

I can’t connect the dots. How does this help all the disgruntled and disenfranchised out there? Also it turns out Hillary may not be “likeable enough.”

Or maybe we could settle on Ted Cruz, the guy who was willing to shut down the government over funding Planned Parenthood.

We are in deep trouble here. When did all the adults leave the room?
