State's three largest agencies not leaderless

Your Feb. 9 front page headline – “State’s 3 largest agencies leaderless” – is ridiculously uninformed and very misleading.

Putting aside how one might feel about the departure of these three agency heads, these agencies are far from leaderless. Each has a management team that is still in place.

Each will have an acting director with full and unfettered executive authority and the big boss, the governor, isn’t going anywhere.

If your publisher were to resign and an “acting” publisher installed would your newspaper be leaderless?
