DOC losing forward thinker in Pacholke

Washington state just lost one of its best and brightest leaders when it allowed Corrections Secretary Dan Pacholke to resign over the need for a scapegoat due to early release mistakes.

Mr. Pacholke has consistently been an advocate not only for higher expectations from DOC staff, but also from inmates and was a forward thinking leader that saw and learned from past experiences. He excelled in helping inmates see better futures for themselves, their family, society. He will be missed.
