GOP actions on Trump, court suggest trouble

Media reports lead us to believe the GOP hierarchy is searching for a way to stop Donald Trump from becoming its presidential nominee. Yet leaders of the Republican Congress are more than willing to take the chance of having Donald Trump nominate the next Supreme Court justice.

This can only be recognized as an incomprehensible, indefensible act.

The reason given: The people should have a say. It doesn't pass the smell test.

Conclusion: We have members of Congress who are unfit to hold public office.

With a Congress such as this, what hope is there for any president to accomplish anything? Sound familiar?
