Trump’s raised hand was benign gesture

I just had a person say to me that Jewish people found Trump’s hand raise hurtful. As a person of Jewish descent and as the grandson of a German immigrant, I would disagree.

What I find hurtful is those that use the Holocaust for political maneuvering and the grabbing of news headlines. That is very insensitive to the memory of my ancestors that died in the death camps.

It is just as bad as the media constantly using the racism card or the “phobic” label to demean any objector to an agenda. I note that Hillary and Bernie raise their hands often.

I don’t see the media running after them to capture a “salute.” It seems that Trump, Cruz, and Rubio are always the ones caught doing these insane things.

If you catch Hillary and Bernie with hands held just right maybe the media could even make a case for them being “charismatic,” adding further fuel to the far left and far right fires.

You have to be an idiot to think Trump meant anything but what it was, a plea for a pledge of support. What I find insulting is that someone would think that I’m stupid enough to fall for the Nazi card in this day and time. We really have more important things to consider than was it a salute or wasn’t it during this election cycle.
