Nuisance drug ads don't belong on TV
If, then, President Nixon could sign a measure banning cigarette advertising on TV and radio in 1970, why can’t annoying prescription drug advertisements be summarily banned today?
Who has the guts to address this and challenge the behemoth drug industry? By not paying expensive TV commercials could drugs be more affordable?
Or, maybe someone will develop an “app” to automatically switch TV channels temporarily during nuisance advertisements to the user’s best alternate channel.
A much better idea than to have the drug industry’s “brainwashing” prevail.
