We should love Bernie and vote for him
The letter advising us to love Bernie Sanders but vote for Hillary Clinton was disappointing. Why wouldn’t one want to vote for the person who speaks to their heart?
Bernie has awakened not only the hearts but also the minds of millions of voters. He has tapped into something vital that has been missing from our country’s political system for years. People young and old are engaged and talking, caucusing and donating.
No he can’t personally bring about all the changes this country so desperately needs and he says so. Bernie reminds us politics are for everyone to be involved in. We have to elect representatives to uphold Bernie’s policies and remind those reps constantly what we, the people, want.
Bernie Sanders is an honest, gentlemanly politician who does not make personal attacks. This is rare. He is intelligent, sees where the problems are, has good solid solutions and will surround himself with worthy advisers.
Yes, his views and plans are more forward thinking than the other presidential candidates and that may scare ordinary people. Moving forward, it won’t be enough to cast your vote and go on with your life for four years. Constant engagement is vital.
Real change takes real courage. Bernie is courageous and we the voters should reward what is a breath of fresh air in our tainted political climate. Vote for Sanders for president.
