Capitol grounds an embarrassment

Totally agree with Doug Ryser that our once beautiful capital grounds AND CITY, has fallen in disgrace. Olympia has the advantage of amazing natural beauty of the Puget Sound, the Olympics, and Mount Rainier....yet lack of respect and pride dominate and nearly turn it into an eye sore.

Unfortunately, many volunteers are busy in the core of Olympia picking up used needles and human excrement to make it safer for those that actually still go downtown. Oh my....what a coincidence that Olympia was voted the second “Best City in the U.S. for Hippies” by the Estately Blog.

So Doug Ryser, I feel your pain, and I hope we can someday bring back this city to an inviting and an aesthetic area it previous was. (Before pot was legal, men only used men’s restrooms, and the “PC Police” didn’t get you!)
