Homeowners face unfair tax burdens
I recently sent a letter to the editor questioning why homeowners were the only people who would be taxed to support the new school levy, when renters with children in schools got a free ride.
Now Seattle is trying to pass a tax, only on homeowners, to pay for care of the homeless in their city.
Again, I ask why are homeowners being singled out?
The homeless is a problem for everyone and their aid should be shared by all city residents.
