Too many people need oil and coal

Let's say these oil train protesters get their wish. No more oil and no more coal will be used. Without these industries the economy of the world collapses.

World War III would be likely. People would starve and die without work.

These protesters should go to the churches and hospitals. There they could protest about the world human population. Almost every human alive uses oil / coal products in some way. The heavy use of oil / coal is a result of so many people.

The only other power sources that can sustain so many persons would be nuclear and hydro-power. These same protesters wouldn't like these power sources either.

China once had a one child policy. Maybe they were on the right track.
