Both marathon winner photos belonged out front

Congratulations to all the runners in this year's Capital City Marathon. You trained hard and set a goal that few will attain.

I read the articles with interest. Then I looked at the pictures. I found the sole picture of the women's marathon winner on the back page of the Sports section while the male winner had not one but two pictures on the section front.

It would have been a fitting recognition of their achievements to place both their pictures on the front page. I am disappointed in The Olympian and the layout decision.
