Truancy is result of poor parenting work

So, now there is a new and improved way of dealing with kids who skip school? We had to find a way to help these poor misguided waifs from missing more school? They say they're bored? They say they're misunderstood? They say someone said a bad word in front of them that hurt their feelings?

I remember when you skipped a class, for whatever lame reason I had at the time. I did it once, and never again. My boys did it once, and never again. They are successful, useful members of society.

They don't need government to be involved raising them; they need parents that care. Take away the new car you bought them. Take away the cell phone you pay for.

Parents had the kids for whatever reason, and it's not my job to pay for government to raise your kids because you have other things to do.

You don't understand your kids way of thinking? You don't have the right to just give up on them.

Time to stand up, dad. Time to pay attention. They need guidance, not you as another friend with money.
