Don't let this happen again

This November, America will get the president it deserves, but sadly, NOT the one it needs.

After decades of voter apathy and more recently, unlimited corporate election funding, this is what it comes down to. Record low voter turnouts, the media spinning the news for ratings, billions spent by corporations and PACS have produced the most screwed up national ballot in the history of the US. The outcome of this election is already a disaster, no matter who is elected.

We as Americans, have the right and the civic obligation as citizens to vote on every ballot, no matter what the perceived importance of the issues or candidates presented. If you don’t vote, then shut up about who gets elected or what measures are passed. If you’re not concerned enough to participate, you have no one to blame but yourself for the results.

If you do vote, and your candidate doesn’t win, sorry, but not everything goes your way every time. Get off your lazy whining asses and vote.

This November is already a train wreck that is unstoppable, let it serve to motivate you to do the right thing each and every opportunity you get to participate and vote.

Vote for the future, for yourself, your family, your community and your country.

Don’t let the November elections this year become repeat events. Return the government to what it is supposed to be, responsive and answerable to the will and needs of the citizens of this nation.
