Another reason to ban loud fireworks

For 14 years we have listened to fireworks going off on 110th Avenue. SW and enjoyed them until this year. For some reason they sounded like bombs going off every few seconds.

I have a 15-year-old Yorkie dog that has never been bothered with the noise until this year! He ran out the doggie door (Which he never used at night) and apparently kept running until?

I now know what people mean by "closure." I cry whenever I think of what might have happened to him. Has a coyote or owl or cougar eaten him or is he starving to death or has he had a heart attack due to the panic?

This is like losing a family member. I look at his empty chair, empty dish, his blanket, etc. and feel so alone! Maybe they should ban the extremely loud fireworks? Think about the grief an hour of noise can cause.. The older, quieter fireworks were fine!
