Government couldn’t leave well enough alone

As usual, our illustrious government officials were troubled by a program that was working well and serving needs. Until July 1, patients like myself with terminal liver cancer, could obtain needed medical marijuana. I use it to help prod my appetite, ease pain, and control nausea as suggested by my oncologist. Evidently the government agency wasn't able to figure any way to bleed any money from the old voter approved system so they coupled it to the recreational market figuring that many patients would forgo obtaining the tax exempt card and therefore pay the sales tax. Thanks for your concern! Maybe what we need is another ballot measure to more tightly control our instructions to those officials that work for the people.
