Headline maligns the military

The headline “3 Police officers slain by former Marine” is reprehensible.

You tacitly assigned his barbarity to the military. This killer has been out of the Marines since 2010.

To make his military service a reason for his attack is an example of how you twist the facts to direct anger away from him and what he stands for. The locus of responsibility is the man himself, a radical member of a racist group, bent on inflicting damage to a society he despises. He just happened to have served in the Marines a long time ago.

You should issue an apology to the public for your biased reporting.
