Gun violence needs to change

After the Mukilteo tragedy, I have realized we need a gun law that allows close family members to place a hold on any gun purchase by other family members. The most likely people to know that someone is troubled enough to be a danger to other or themselves is family members.

They should be able to prevent a close family family member from buying a gun.

No law will prevent all such tragedies but giving close family members power to protect themselves and others could go a long way. Sadly, people are most at risk from gun violence due to their own family members. Give them a chance to protect themselves, and maybe others as well.
