Substance use by candidates fair question

You recently published an article titled “Clinton, Trump claim: First president since 1993 who hasn’t smoked pot” which brings up a question. How many of the candidates drink?

Let’s be fair. If we are going to ask about their use of marijuana then let’s ask about the use of others substances and it might be wise to start with alcohol. That would be especially important with the troops the United States has committed to overseas combat.

Do any of the candidates have a history of abusing alcohol?
