State slow to adopt pot for pain

Concerning the article on pain management centers being closed, there is another factor being ignored and that is the state lawmakers view of cannabis use for pain management.

I've had an implanted morphine pump and was covered by insurance. The problem is that there is still a tolerance factor. I thought marijuana would be the best alternative so I had my pump removed.

However the state of Washington has tried its best to make it a taxation and regulation nightmare for those in need. Just what is the guess on the number of deaths caused by opiate overdose vs. the zero number for marijuana caused deaths? Common sense has been over ridden by stupidity, tax and spending at the state and federal level.
