Watch Oscar nominations

Learn about alpine scrambling

The Tacoma Mountaineers will hold an information night about its alpine scramble climbing course. Father-daughter dance

The theme for the 14th annual Father-Daughter Dame is “A Night in Never Never Land.” There will be crafts, ice cream, music, dancing and prizes. Trees of Point Defiance

Join certified arborist Mik Miazio for a program on Tacoma’s giant trees, including a 186-foot Douglas fir.
