Visit national parks for free
In honor of Presidents Day, admission to all national parks will be free, including Mount Rainier and Olympia national parks, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and Lewis and Clark National Historic Park in Washington. Camping in state parks
David Kaynor will lead a class, “10 Great State Parks to Camp In,” about the whens, wheres and whys of camping in the state. Bucket list of fly fishing
Anil Srivastava of Puget Sound Fly Co. in Tacoma will help fly anglers put together a list of fly fishing travel adventures he calls “The Budget Bucket List.” He will speak at the meeting of the South Sound Fly Fishers, 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, North Olympia Fire Station, 5046 Boston Harbor Road NE, Olympia.
