Tokeland-North Cove Artist Studio Tour
What: Artists will open their studios, or be based at businesses in Tokeland, to share their work. The tour is the focal point of an Easter weekend full of activities.
When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 15 and noon-4 p.m. April 16.
Where: Tokeland area at the north end of Willapa Bay.
On the tour: There will be more than 20 studios open for the free self-guided tour. The artists will be on hand to discuss their works and the media they choose to use.
Art auction: Local artists will have some of their works up for auction, with the proceeds benefiting the Ocosta Junior/Senior Art Club. It will begin at 6 p.m. April 15 at Tradewinds Event Center in Tokeland. The cost is $20, and includes local food and wine.
Beach cleanup/egg hunt: At 4 p.m. April 16 in North Cove, there will be a beach cleanup that will include a search for candy, cash and art.
Crab fun in Westport: The same weekend, Westport will host its 30th annual World Class Crab Races that includes a crab feed and crab derby. You can get more information for this event at westportgrayland-chamber.org.
