The number of square miles protected by the Rose Atoll Marine National Monument in America Samoa. Through a partnership between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and other agencies, you can now take a virtual tour of some of the monument’s pristine reefs via Google Street View. The underwater mapping was done by Catlin Seaview Survey, which has been working with Google since 2012 to record the world's coral reefs in high-resolution, 360-degree panoramic images, according to the survey project's website.
