Access to LBA Woods and Park in Olympia has been limited because of maintenance work being done on a water tower southwest of the park.

The trail next to the water tower at Boulevard and Log Cabin roads will be closed or limited in some capacity until the end of June, when the water tower work is expected to be completed.

According to a news release from the City of Olympia, once the water tower work is done, the trail will be reopened or re-routed, if needed. There is signage posted about the closure around the trail, and people are being asked to respect the neighboring private property.

The park can still be accessed from Morse-Merryman Road Southeast and a trail on the east side of the woods.
