Taste of the Holiday and Wine Walk

WHAT: This two-part event allows visitors to kick off the holiday season and enjoy wines from area wineries. Proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit the Northshore Schools Foundation.

WHEN: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Nov. 14. Wine tasting from 6-9 p.m.

WHERE: Country Village Shops, 23718 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell.

TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS: The 28th annual event includes demonstrations, activities and holiday refreshment. There also will be a live reindeer for kids to meet. You also can nibble on hot roasted chestnuts, while supplies last. Santa’s Cottage will host three gingerbread house workshops during the day.

WINE WALK: This is a chance to sample wines from more than 15 vintners. Walk among holiday lights as you try wines from local producers.

TICKETS: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. VIP tickets, which allow early access to tastings and come with a tasting glass, are $30. Online ticket sales end Nov. 13. The gingerbread workshops are $35. Send an email to katie@countryvillagebothell.com to sign up or call 425-483-2250.
