Outdoor gear item for Jan. 9: Men’s rain suit
Frogg Toggs men’s rain suit
The situation: It’s winter, it’s the Northwest, it’s rainy. But that doesn’t mean you have to stay indoors until the sun shines again in the spring.
A solution: Frogg Toggs has come out with its Pro-Lite rain suit. Made from the company’s L83 nonwoven bi-laminate material, the suit is waterproof and breathable. It also is machine washable, should your next outdoor adventure leave you muddy. These would be a good option for anglers or hikers.
The details: The suit has a fully adjustable hood, a full-zip front with a storm flap to keep out the elements, and an elastic waist on the jacket and pants.
Sold only as a suit, it is available in three sizes: S/M, M/L and XL/2XL. It comes in carbon or khaki. A stuff sack is included.
The suit contains no PVC or phthalates. And when you are done with the suit, it is recyclable.
Price: $39.95.
Availability: Go to froggtoggs.com or see other retailers.
