Sunday marks end of ski season at some Washington resorts
Sunday marks the end of ski season at several Western Washington ski areas, but there will still be opportunities for skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes.
Crystal Mountain, Mount Baker and the Summit at Snoqualmie’s Summit Central are declaring this weekend the last for winter operations, according to their websites.
White Pass plans to stay open on weekends through May 1. Stevens Pass, which is offering $15 lift tickets on Friday, is operating on weekends with April 23-24 scheduled for its finale.
Crystal Mountain will start running its Mt. Rainier Gondola starting May 28. It will run on weekends until it starts daily operations on June 24. Skiing will be allowed in Green Valley as long as conditions permit.
