Komar is latest player from Washington to get a chance
Former Auburn Riverside High School star Max Komar has signed a free-agent contract with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals after going undrafted last week.
Komar, a wide receiver, led Idaho with 63 catches, 1,052 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions last year.
Idaho running back DeMaundray Woolridge, a former Washington State Cougar, signed a free-agent deal with St. Louis.
Ex-Cougars running back Chris Ivory agreed to a free-agent contract with New Orleans after playing at NCAA Division II Tiffin (Ohio) last year.
Centralia High graduate Nathan Overbay, a tight end at Eastern Washington, signed with Denver. EWU quarterback Matt Nichols signed with Dallas.
WSU center Kenny Alfred signed with Tennessee. Alfred attended Gig Harbor High.
