CLASS 4A

Puyallup running back Briytan Bailey (21) carries the ball against the Sumner Spartans during the first half of the game at Sparks Stadium, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, in Puyallup, Wash.

No. 9 Skyline Spartans (8-2) vs. No. 1 Puyallup Vikings (11-0)

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Sparks Stadium

Outside of Graham-Kapowsin QB AJ Tuivaiave, Skyline QB Ben Odom might be the best Puyallup has seen this season. He’ll air the ball out to receivers Bupe Chisanga and Luke Morgan, but we expect Puyallup to have the advantage in the trenches and an even more explosive offense to match. Viks’ QB Noah Smith has racked up 1,752 yards and 27 TDs in just seven games this season. Give us the Vikings in yet another lopsided affair.

TNT pick: Puyallup 49, Skyline 21

Sumner defensive end Shaun Griffith (90) reacts to a Sumner interception ran back for a touchdown against Eastmont during the first half of the game, at Sunset Chev Stadium on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, in Sumner, Wash.

No. 13 Glacier Peak Grizzlies (10-1) vs. No. 5 Sumner Spartans (8-3)

2 p.m Saturday, Nov. 22 at Sunset Chev Stadium

Sumner likely expected a rematch with Chiawana after the Spartans stole last year’s all-time classic, 37-31, in triple overtime of the 4A semifinals — but Glacier Peak had other plans. The Grizzlies knocked off the Riverhawks in the state tournament’s opening round last weekend, booking their trip to the Valley behind LB Luke Fullerton’s two interceptions. The road gets tougher at Sunset Chev, and the question looms: Can Glacier Peak stop Spartans RB Lance McGee? Expect plenty more of the star rusher. Sumner’s starting defense has allowed three total points in their last six games. We’ll take the defending champs.

TNT pick: Sumner 35, Glacier Peak 20

Graham Kapowsin wide receiver Jayce Halasz (1) runs in a touchdown reception against Kennedy Catholic during the first half of the opening round 4A state tournament game at Art Crate Field, on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in Spanaway, Wash.

No. 6 Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (10-1) vs. No. 3 Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (11-0)

1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Gonzaga Preparatory School

Graham-Kapowsin has upset ability with its offense, a balance of bruising RB Blake Pearson, star sophomore QB AJ Tuivaiave and explosive receivers Jayce Halasz and Kase Betz. It’ll come down to how well the Eagles are prepared to defend Gonzaga Prep’s triple option offense. This will be the best offense Gonzaga Prep has seen this season, but it’s tough to pick against this experienced, physical group at home in Spokane.

TNT pick: Gonzaga Prep 28, Graham-Kapowsin 21

CLASS 3A

Mount Tahoma’s Keshawn Hines (22) is celebrated by Mount Tahoma’s Andrew Savaiinaea (52) in the end zone during a game against Bellarmine on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Mount Tahoma in Tacoma, Wash.

No. 10 Lincoln Abes (8-3) vs. No. 2 Mount Tahoma T-Birds (11-0)

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Mount Tahoma High School

The top programs in Tacoma meet in a quarterfinals rematch. Mount Tahoma beat Lincoln in the regular season matchup, 28-7. Lincoln has found its rhythm since then, winning six straight, including an impressive 28-19 win over Rainier Beach last week. But Mount Tahoma still has the edge up front and has the best player on the field in WR/CB Elijah Durr. We think it could be a little closer this time around, but we’re taking the T-Birds again.

TNT pick: Mount Tahoma 28, Lincoln 14

Lakes quarterback Jadis Lefono (10) prepares to throw the ball during a game against Capital on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, in Lakewood, Wash.

No. 5 Lakes Lancers (10-1) vs. No. 4 Bellevue Wolverines (9-2)

7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at Bellevue High School

‘Orange Crush’ has returned to the state quarterfinals for the first time since 2016 with blossoming freshman quarterback Jadis Lefono and three-star linebacker Ta’u Mareko, an Idaho commit. Lefono continues to thrive under center with perimeter talent and a trio of running backs behind him, but Lakes needs another masterful defensive effort to slow down Bellevue’s Wing-T run game on the road. We think the Wolverines find a way to emerge.

TNT pick: Bellevue 28, Lakes 21

CLASS 2A

Tumwater linebacker Gavin Kaikkonen runs drills during a football practice at Tumwater High School on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in Tumwater, Wash.

No. 7 Franklin Pierce Cardinals (9-2) vs. No. 2 Tumwater T-Birds (9-1)

2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Tumwater District Stadium

If you like fast football games, this one may be for you. Franklin Pierce’s Power-T matches up against Tumwater’s Wing-T in a matchup of two run-heavy offenses. Franklin Pierce RB Bryson Allen has shown the ability to take over games in a hurry, but we think Tumwater has the better defense.

TNT pick: Tumwater 35, Franklin Pierce 21

Orting QB Kyle Curtis runs through practice drills at Cardinal Stadium on Aug. 27, 2025, in Orting, Wash.

No. 5 Anacortes Seahawks (9-2) vs. No. 4 Orting Cardinals (11-0)

1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Orting Stadium

Orting, this year’s 2A SPSL champion, will need big games from running backs Carson McCall and Shiron Seniours to beat the two-time defending state champion and advance to the 2A state tournament semifinals. They’ll face an Anacortes defense that communicates well, flies to the football and an offense that can hit explosive plays in a hurry with three-star QB Ryan Harrington.

TNT pick: Anacortes 35, Orting 24

CLASS 1A

Life Christian quarterback Jabez Boyd (2) keeps the ball against the Annie Wright Gator during the first half of the game at Stadium High School, on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, in Tacoma, Wash.

No. 10 Life Christian Academy Eagles (7-4) vs No. 2 Cashmere Bulldogs (9-1)

2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Apple Bowl (Wenatchee)

Life Christian Academy avenged their Week 2 loss to Nooksack Valley in grand fashion, a 35-7 blowout in the state tournament’s opening round. Dual-threat QB Jabez Boyd makes any upset feel possible, throwing five touchdowns (504 YDS) last weekend — three to senior receiver Kyien Hamilton (14-280-3). Cashmere looks the part of a 1A title contender, losing only to six-time defending champion Royal in overtime of Week 5. We’ll take the Bulldogs in a nailbiter, but don’t count Boyd and the Eagles out.

TNT pick: Cashmere 42, Life Christian Academy 35
