- Kelso coach Mary Chennault: "Rain De Leon had consistent groundstrokes. She played all around smart tennis and made very few errors. Leah McReary's serving was on fire today. Leah hit with good power on her shots forcing errors by her opponent. Avery Coburn had some long rallies and games. She fought hard through each point and came up with a win today.
Rylie Nelsen & Taylor Nelsen brought power and placement today. Royal Grafton & Landrey Geiszler set up their points nicely with well-placed groundstrokes followed by aggressive volleys at the net and watch out for those powerful overheads.
Sawyer Bratton & Mia Conrad came from being down 2-5 in the first set to win that set 7-5. They found their rhythm and sailed through the second set. They showed great resilience and determination, despite being down 2-5, they didn't get down on themselves. They kept believing in their abilities and fighting for every point which paid off."
