Prep Highlights: Makenzie Henthorn tosses no-hitter as Mark Morris softball beats Columbia River

Makenzie Henthorn threw a no-hitter as Mark Morris beat Columbia River 4-0 on Monday in a clash of 2A Greater St. Helens League softball unbeatens.

A senior who has committed to play at the University of Montana, Henthorn had 16 strikeouts and two walks.

Grace Woodbridge hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the second to put the Monarchs on the board. Paisley Fraidenburg and Taylor Lee each collected two hits.

Columbia River pitcher Ruby Lew also had 16 strikeouts, allowing six hits and three walks.

Mark Morris improved to 5-0 in 2A GSHL play and 8-1 overall. Columbia River fell to 6-1 in league play and 7-4 overall.

Annie Sheppert and Maelle Miller, Skyview girls tennis, each won their singles matches in straight sets as the Storm beat Camas 4-2.

Reese Reiter, Camas girls golf, scored a match-high 29 points as the Papermakers earned a 106-65 Stableford victory over Union at Camas Meadows.

Laila Reive, Mountain View softball, went 2 for 4 with two doubles and a stolen base in a 12-2 win over La Center.

Brooklyn Lish, Battle Ground softball, hit a two-run home run that keyed a five-run first inning in a 12-2 win over Heritage.

Faith Smith, Ridgefield softball, went 4 for 4 with three doubles and four RBI in a 22-0 win over R.A. Long.

Rylan Howe, Union baseball, threw a two-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking two over seven innings in a 9-0 win over Camas.

Adam Swanson, Kelso baseball, had 11 strikeouts over six innings, allowing six hits in a 8-2 win over Mountain View. He also went 3 for 5 with three RBI.

Brett Dietrich, Prairie baseball, went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBI in a 12-2 win over Heritage.

Zach Sims, Columbia River baseball, went 3 for 4 with a double and four runs scored in a 15-7 win over Hudson's Bay.

Deker Bartell, Mark Morris baseball, went 2 for 4 with two doubles in a 5-3 win over Washougal.

Lu Llunga, King's Way Christian boys soccer, had two goals and two assists in an 8-0 win over Kalama.

Tyson Hair and Emmanuel Vasquez-Contreras, Ridgefield boys soccer, each had two goals in a 5-0 win over Washougal.

Bryce Diaz, Columbia River boys soccer, had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Hudson's Bay.
