NFL Host Colleen Wolfe Pumped For National Anthem Thursday
The NFL Draft is going to be in Pittsburgh this week and the city is bringing its best to make the event an unforgettable experience. One of the many guests set to be a part of it is a national anthem singer that Colleen Wolfe is very excited to see.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the NFL host shared some sights and sounds from her time meeting Pittsburgh native and NFL Draft national anthem singer KELS.
"First of all, if you haven't heard @findingkels sultry voice yet: you're welcome.
✨✨Pittsburgh's own is singing the anthem Thursday to open the NFL Draft. ✨✨But first she took me around town and I tried not to embarrass her," Wolfe wrote, sharing some photos from their meeting.
KELS has been a rising star in the independent music space with a dedicated following of over 440,000 fans on Instagram alone. Her song Gone from 2025 has nearly 500,000 views just on YouTube.
This is far from her first national anthem performance as she has sang it at a Pittsburgh Pirates game when she was 14 and many more times since then.
"If u told little high school Kels she was singing the national anthem for the @nfl in her hometown she would not believe you. See you soon Pittsburgh for the @nfldraft Thursday April 23rd," she wrote on Instagram this past weekend.
The NFL Draft
Hundreds of thousands of NFL fans will be flocking to Pittsburgh over the three-day draft, which is hosting the event for the first time in over 75 years.
For the occasion, the NFL Draft is going to feature a wide variety of NFL stars who either played in or were raised in Pittsburgh during their playing careers.
It only makes sense that one of the city's favorite singers gets a chance to honor America before it all kicks off on Thursday night.
