Vote now for The News Tribune’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week for contests played between April 20-25. Voting will remain open until noon Thursday.

Dwight Ballard, Spanaway Lake boys — Senior ran the state’s fastest 100-meter dash this spring (10.51 seconds), setting a new personal best at the 36th gearUP Eason Invitational in Snohomish on Saturday.
Kam Balles, Auburn Mountainview — Senior won the javelin throw (161-10) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Samuel Dejiacomo, Yelm boys — Senior won the discus throw with a new personal best (148-09) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Amin Fidaar, Rogers boys — Won the 1,500 at the Jesuit Twilight in Portland on Friday with a time of 3 minutes, 52.48 seconds, the 10th fastest time in the nation. The following day, won the 800-meter at the Big 5 meet in Arlington with a time of 1 minute, 54.95 seconds.
Paityn Gagnon, Timberline girls — Senior won the high jump and set a new personal best (5-02) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Ramon Jones, Lincoln boys — Senior won the 100-meter dash (11.16 seconds) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Blake Kirkpatrick, Tumwater boys — Senior notched a personal best in the 100-meter dash (10.57 seconds), finishing runner-up at the 36th gearUP Eason Invitational in Snohomish on Saturday.
Kaitlyn Moan, Orting girls — Junior won the javelin throw and notched a personal best (126-11) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Bella Reid, Mount Rainier girls — Senior won the triple jump with a new season best (35-1.5) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Carmelo Roper, Timberline boys — Senior won the long jump (22-6.75, PB) and triple jump (44-4.25) events at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Tygee Roy, Federal Way boys — Talented ninth grader ran a personal best 48.81 seconds in the 400-meter at the Bill Harris Invitational. Also ran a personal best 22.50 seconds against Kentlake in the 200-meter, winning the event.
Patrick Walsh, Yelm boys — Senior won the 1600-meter run and set a new personal best (4:21.26) at the Bill Harris Invitational in Federal Way on Saturday.
Chloe Williams, Kentridge girls — Freshman broke the meet record from 2016 (56.41 seconds) in the 400-meter with a time of 55.73. Also broke the school record, which she previously set, beating a mark that had stood since 2010.
