Prep Highlights: Late-game rally lifts Mountain View to 8-7 win over Evergreen for 3A GSHL baseball crown

Lucas Wolfley drove in a game-high four runs - including a two-out, game-tying RBI single run in the seventh - before the Mountain View Thunder won it with a walk-off passed ball for an 8-7 victory in Thursday's 3A Greater St. Helens League baseball game.
With Kelso's loss to Prairie on Thursday, Mountain View clinches the 3A GSHL title.
Mountain View scored five runs over the final two innings after entering the sixth trailing 7-2. With two outs, Wolfley's RBI single in the seventh scored Legend Haskey from second that tied the game at 7-7. Two batters later, Brendon Lawson scored from third on a passed ball.
Evergreen put up all seven of its runs in the second inning, powered by Jaxon Metz, Ace Gutierrez and Takeo Wong. Plainsmen starter Ryno Catabay struck out six and allowed just three hits and two earned runs over 5.1 innings pitched.
Wolfley's game-high four RBIs came on a 2-for-3 performance with a double. Haskew and Lawson each scored twice on 1-for-3 performances.

Brady Brandenburg, La Center baseball, went 3 for 4 and drove in 3 runs in a shutout win over Columbia-White Salmon.
Hudson Moon, Kalama baseball, went 3 for 4 with a double and four runs scored in a Trico League win over Stevenson
Julia Mullinix, Columbia-White Salmon softball, went 2 for 4 with a home run in the Bruins' 9-5 win over La Center.
Camren McCray, Prairie baseball, went 2 for 3 with a double and a pair of RBI in a 5-3 win over Kelso.
Dalton Woods, Seton Catholic baseball, tossed six innings of one-hit ball with eight strikeouts in a 4-2 win over Castle Rock.
Cade Lukens, Camas baseball, went 2 for 4 with two runs and four RBI in an 11-7 win over Skyview, clinching a postseason berth for the Papermakers.
Mason Renner, Columbia River boys soccer, had three goals and one assists in a 7-0 win over Washougal.
Ryder Cole-Vogler, Hockinson boys soccer, had three goals in a 4-0 win over Hudson's Bay.
Kingsley Williams, Seton Catholic softball, went 2 for 3 with three runs, a triple and two RBI in a 20-0 win over Castle Rock.
Katelynne Jones, Kalama softball, went 3 for 5 with three runs, a double and RBI and pitched all eight innings in a 17-14 win over Stevenson.
