Seattle Storm release new ‘Rebel Edition' uniforms for 2026 season

The Seattle Storm released their 2026 WNBA Nike Rebel Edition uniform Friday, with design elements that reflect the theme Eye of the Storm."

The black jersey features a green-outlined lightning filled in with fog and mist detailing. "Seattle Storm is printed in curves across the chest in a tilted circular pattern, intended to evoke the motion of a rotating radar, the press release said.

"Our new Rebel uniform captures who we are as a team and as a city," Seattle Storm Chief Marketing Officer Will Gulley said. "In Seattle, we embrace the elements and in basketball, we embrace the moment. This design reflects that mindset of always staying composed in the chaos, playing with confidence under pressure and representing a community that takes pride in its resilience and edge."

Nike and the WNBA debuted new Rebel Edition uniforms for each of the league's 15 teams for this year's season. Each uniform is designed in collaboration with the team with the goal of reflecting the communities, values and local influences that define the teams.

The jerseys and other fanwear designed as a part of the collection are available for purchase. Other items in the collection include the Rebel Edition t-shirt with the circular Seattle Storm writing and the Rebel Edition Hoodie that features a small lightning bolt logo on the front with the team name on the back.

The Seattle Storm's season tips off against the Golden State Valkyries on Friday at Climate Pledge Arena.
