Kyle Busch Heard Calling For Doctor During Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Race
Kyle Busch is in pain on Sunday.
The veteran NASCAR Cup Series driver is competing in the Go Bowling At The Glen on Sunday. Busch, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet, has been competing well. He's currently in fifth place.
However, Busch was just heard on his radio, asking for a doctor. Thankfully, he doesn't need the doctor until after the race. But, the fact that he's already asking for it would suggest that he's in some serious pain.
Busch was heard on the radio, telling his team to have a doctor ready immediately following the race.
"In an even & measured voice Kyle Busch asked his team to find Dr. William Heisel and that he will need him after the race. Dr. Heisel has extensive work with teams, drivers and pit crew members," Dustin Long reported.
"Busch did not elaborate on the radio for why he is making the request."
Busch is likely going to need some kind of pain shot, Bob Pockrass reports.
"Kyle was asked if he wanted to be met at his car or his bus. Busch said his bus, he's going to need a shot."
NASCAR fans hope that Busch is OK
NASCAR fans are hoping that Busch is OK.
"Hope he's alright," one wrote.
"Well that doesn't sound good, but at least it can wait til after the race," one fan added.
"Hope he's OK! That sounds ominous," one argued.
"That sounds painful," another added.
Busch appears to be in good enough shape to finish the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday. However, he clearly needs some help from a doctor immediately after Sunday's competition.
Hopefully, it's nothing too bad.
