Dillon Brooks Makes Prediction on LeBron James' NBA Future
Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks sat courtside at Monday night’s Game 4 matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers, watching the reigning NBA champions sweep LeBron James and his squad at Cypto.com Arena.
Brooks has embraced his role as one of the NBA’s biggest villains. And on multiple occasions, he’s played villain to James and the Lakers.
That being said, Brooks shared a surprisingly positive outlook regarding James’ NBA future on Monday night.
"I don't think it's his last year," Brooks said, via Yahoo Sports. "I think he got one more in him. I watched him when I was in the NBA, when I was a kid in high school. He's got a phenomenal career and battled everybody and done it at a high level throughout. It's been amazing to watch overall, a pleasure to battle against him."

James has a decision to make this offseason. Either the 41-year-old NBA superstar retires after his 23rd season, returns to Los Angeles for another campaign or takes his talents elsewhere in 2026-27.
James is still operating at an elite level. Through 10 playoff games, he averaged 23.2 points, 7.3 assists and 6.7 rebounds per contest.

“I don’t know what the future holds for me, obviously,” James said on Monday night. “As it stands right now tonight, I’ve got a lot of time. I’ll sit back like I think I said last year after we lost to Minnesota, I’ll go back and recalibrate with my family and talk with them and spend some time with them. When the time comes, obviously, you guys will know what I decide to do.”
