MMA Fighter Logan Storley Arrested While Nude, Accused of Serious Crimes

Logan Storley, a veteran of both the PFL and Bellator MMA, was arrested early Monday morning in Key West, Fla., according to police reports obtained by the Miami Herald. The 33-year-old welterweight is currently facing one felony count of sexual battery following an alleged incident at a local strip club.

Reports from the Key West police claim that the alleged assault occurred in the early morning hours of May 18. Storley was subsequently booked into the Monroe County jail and has since been released after posting a $50,000 bond.

Police Report

The arrest report states that Storley met the woman at the Bull and Whistle, a three-story bar on Duval Street, around 3 a.m. The woman told detectives that Storley was "pushy" and tried to dance with her, but she "wanted to get away."

Storley allegedly invited the woman to the third-floor bar, where nudity is permitted, then suggested they "get naked."

Although the woman initially declined, she eventually went to the third floor, where she danced with another woman "in an effort to avoid" Storley. After she left the establishment, Storley allegedly followed her outside and persuaded her to enter an alley on Telegraph Lane.

It is alleged that Storley then removed his clothes and had intercourse with the woman against her will. Employees from Teasers, a nearby strip club, told investigators they witnessed the incident from their location.

Arrest and Immediate Aftermath

After Storley noticed the witnesses, he reportedly attempted to flee the scene while still unclothed. The manager of Teasers apprehended Storley and held him until officers arrived in the area.

The woman was transported to a local health clinic to undergo a sexual assault examination.

Police noted that Storley had the scent of alcohol on his breath. After being read his rights, Storley declined to speak with investigators without his attorney present.

PFL Confirms Release Before Incident

The arrest comes just over two weeks after Storley headlined a PFL event in his home state of South Dakota, where he defeated Florim Zendeli via unanimous decision on May 2:

However, a PFL spokesperson confirmed with MMA outlet Sherdog.com that Storley parted ways with the league shortly after that fight, meaning Storley was no longer under contract with the PFL at the time of Monday morning's alleged assault.

Storley holds an 18-4 professional MMA record and is a former NCAA Division I All-American wrestler from the University of Minnesota. His most notable career win was in Bellator over Michael "Venom" Page to become the promotion's welterweight champion.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office arrest report, Storely has an occupation in real estate in Deerfield Creek, Fla.

Storley's arraignment is currently scheduled next month for June 5.
