Final Injury Report for Sparks-Mercury: Will Ariel Atkins, Sania Feagin Play?

The Los Angeles Sparks are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Phoenix Mercury in a Western Conference matchup.

Los Angeles enters Thursday's game with a 1-3 record after losing at home to the Toronto Tempo on Sunday night.

In Sunday's loss to the Tempo, Kelsey Plum led the way for the Sparks as she recorded 28 points and seven assists while Dearica Hamby added 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals of her own.

Now Los Angeles will try to bounce back on Thursday as they face off against the Mercury in a tough road matchup.

On the other side, Phoenix enters Thursday's contest with a 2-3 record after losing at home to the Tempo on Tuesday night.

Alyssa Thomas led the way for the Mercury in Tuesday's loss as she ended the game with 17 points, six rebounds, eight assists and three steals while Kahleah Copper recorded 18 points, three rebounds and four assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night's matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Sparks Injury Report: Will Ariel Atkins Play?

For the Sparks, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Sania Feagin.

Los Angeles has ruled out Feagin due to a left leg injury as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest.

The good news for the Sparks is that Ariel Atkins is off their injury report and will return on Thursday after missing the last two games with a concussion.

Mercury Injury Report: Will Monique Akoa Makani Play?

On the other side, the Mercury have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Monique Akoa Makani.

Phoenix has ruled out Akoa Makani as she remains away from the team due to overseas obligations and there is still no timetable for her return.

The Mercury have also ruled out Sami Whitcomb as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left knee surgery.
