Karl-Anthony Towns Reacts to All-NBA Snub With Selfless Message About Knicks
The league announced its 2025-26 All-NBA teams on Sunday, and New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns was nowhere to be found.
Towns is a three-time All-NBA Third Team member, including his most recent honors in 2024-25. But this year, the six-time All-Star wasn’t listed on any of the league’s three teams.
Towns was asked about his snub while speaking to reporters before Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, where he and the Knicks will look to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals with a series sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“It [speaks] to our team, we’re selfless and we’re willing to do whatever it takes for betterment of our team, our organization, and winning,” Towns said. “It’s a collective effort getting the job done every single night for New York. It speaks volumes to this team.”

Towns averaged 20.1 points and 11.9 rebounds per game through 75 regular-season contests this year. He’s averaging 16.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game through the Knicks’ dominant postseason run thus far.
Towns’ New York teammate, superstar point guard Jalen Brunson, was awarded All-NBA Second Team honors.
