Today marks the first friendly match between the two national teams. The USWNT and Brazil have not played each other since a friendly match last year on April 8, 2025.
Brazil defeated the USWNT 2-1 last year with goals from Kerolin and Amanda; Catarina Macario scored the goal for the USWNT.
In April, the USWNT played three friendly matches against Japan following the SheBelieves Cup win. The USWNT won two of three friendly matches against Japan.
In the previous match, the USWNT won 3-0 with goals from Naomi Girma, Rose Lavelle, and Kennedy Wesley.
Brazil will host the USWNT at the Neo Quimica Arena in São Paulo, Brazil, today. Brazil played against Norway last November in Spain, and they lost 3-1.
