Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jokes He's 'Considering' Quitting All Of His NASCAR Jobs

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a busy man these days.

The legendary NASCAR driver has a lot of responsibilities. Dale Jr. works as a NASCAR owner, a NASCAR announcer, a podcast host and more. However, the son of the late, great Dale Earnhardt Sr. joked (kind of...) that he is considering giving all of that away, in order to get involved in the sports card trading game.

Dale Jr. jokingly took to social media over the weekend to proclaim that he is considering quitting everything in his life, so he can buy and sell things online. It's his new passion - and it's a big one.

Dale Jr. made the big announcement online.

"I'm considering quitting all other jobs, responsibilities, and requirements to just sell stuff on Whatnot and eBay. This isn't likely, but I'm still gonna consider it for a while," he joked on X, formerly known as Twitter.

NASCAR fans react to Dale Jr.'s announcement

NASCAR fans weighed in.

"You're the friggin man jr. you got me back into cards once you first brought up months ago how you were dipping your toes back in," one fan wrote.

Dale Jr. responded: "I'm not sure we are cut out for this Lance. I've found it difficult to remain disciplined."

"My sister has been telling me to get on Whatnot and then you talked about it on the podcast, so now I gotta download it," one fan added.

"It's all fun and games until you get lowball offers in your DMs," one fan added.

"Easy for you, you could post a sock and fetch $300, nobody wants my junk," another fan joked.

It's a new passion for Dale Jr. - and it's a big one, apparently.
