Poll Names Argentina Fans 'Most Attractive' at 2026 World Cup

The Lines recently conducted a survey of 3,000 soccer fans across the United States with one factor in mind: Who are the most attractive countries participating?

The outlet had data on the most attractive fans, team and even manager. Rounding out spots 2-10 in terms of fan attractiveness were Brazil, the United States, Mexico, France, Croatia, Portugal, the Netherlands, Colombia and England (in that order). But the top spot went to Argentina. Not only did the survey find that they have the most attractive fans, they also have the most attractive manager in Lionel Scaloni.

"The Argentina supporters can call themselves the most attractive fanbase of this World Cup. U.S. soccer fans voted Argentina's fans into the number one spot. And it's not just the Argentina fans turning heads: their coach takes home a prize of his own. Lionel Scaloni, the man who won the world title with Argentina in 2022, can call himself the winner of most attractive manager of the FIFA World Cup 2026. He is hotly pursued by Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian manager of the current Brazilian squad takes second place, followed by yet another Argentinian, Mauricio Pochettino, who is coaching Team USA this World Cup," Nick Crain of The Lines wrote.

Most Attractive Team and Kit?

Incidentally, Argentina were unable to secure the post of "most attractive team." To their potential disdain, arch-rival Brazil took that post, followed by the United States and France while Argentina were relegated to fourth. Spain, Mexico, Germany, England, Portugal and the Netherlands took spots 5-10.

As for the kits, Argentina once again came in second, this time falling into second behind the United States. Brazil came in third.

Here's the methodology The Lines claimed to use for their survey:

"For The Lines' 'World Cupid' study, 3,000 U.S. soccer fans were surveyed in June 2026 to find out which fanbases, teams, managers, and USMNT players they find the most attractive at the FIFA World Cup 2026. Participants were also asked to rate the tournament's home kits. To help them decide, respondents were shown a cross-section of fan photos, alongside official pictures of all teams, managers, and kits. The survey sample was 57% male, 42% female, and 1% non-binary, with an average age of 37.6 years."
