Huskies LB Travis Feeney named Pac-12 defensive player of the week, plus UW-Oregon notes

Huskies linebacker Travis Feeney was named Pac-12 defensive player of the week after Washington’s 17-12 victory over USC in Los Angeles.

Feeney, a fifth-year senior, recorded seven tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks against the Trojans.

He is the second UW player to receive player of the week honors this season. Sophomore receiver Dante Pettis was named special-teams player of the week after returning a punt for a touchdown in the Huskies’ season-opening loss at Boise State.
