Jake Browning to start at quarterback for the Huskies against Arizona
Huskies quarterback Jake Browning will return to the starting lineup tonight.
Browning, UW’s true freshman starter, missed last week’s game at Stanford due to an injured throwing shoulder. But he looked fine during warmups on Saturday, and was just announced over the Husky Stadium public address system as the Huskies’ starter. Redshirt freshman K.J. Carta-Samuels started in his place last week.
Browning is 111-for-179 passing this season for 1,332 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
